About Serafina

Bottega Serafina is a one-woman illustration and photography studio, rooted in storytelling, atmosphere, and emotion.

I’m deeply inspired by inner worlds, fleeting moments, memories, nostalgia, and the quiet beauty that can unexpectedly exist within everyday life. A photograph, a passing conversation, a fragment of text, a song, or a certain light falling into a room; small things that linger and slowly turn into feeling.

With a strong love for visual storytelling and human connection, my work moves between illustration, photography, and fine art. I combine hand-drawn elements, typography, colour, and composition in a way that feels intuitive, layered, playful, and quietly poetic.

At its core, my practice is about translating emotion and atmosphere into something tangible – creating imagery that feels personal, evocative, and alive with memory and nostalgia.

Each print is produced on high quality paper, carefully wrapped, and sent your way with attention and care. Available in various sizes.

Custom designs

Personal commissions created with care and attention to detail.

This can include visual identities and branding, editorial illustration, posters, invitations, or design work for events and special occasions. Every project is approached individually, resulting in something personal, atmospheric, and thoughtfully made.

I especially enjoy working on branding, editorial projects, posters, and event-related design.

Custom birth announcements are also possible, though the main focus lies on broader creative collaborations and visual storytelling.

A collection of thoughtfully designed templates that you can easily customise yourself.

The layouts and compositions are already in place – you can simply adjust the text, colours, and fonts to match your event or style. All templates are editable in Canva and designed to make beautiful, personal design more accessible and easy to use.

Lovely to have you here. My name is Babette Bibi, founder of Serafina. I’m an Amsterdam-based self-taught illustrator and photographer with a love for storytelling, atmosphere, and thoughtful details.

After several years working in creative project management, I decided to follow my childhood dream and fully pursue life as an artist.

My work moves between different mediums and styles, which is why I never really like to place it into just one category. From abstract painting and editorial illustration to film photography and wedding stationery – I simply love creating.

What brings me the most joy is translating ideas, emotions, and moments into something visual and tangible. Whether for everyday beauty or meaningful occasions, I approach every project with curiosity, intuition, and care.
